Ghost Towns
Garnet Outside of Missoula, was once a booming mining town. Today, all that's left are remnants of about 20 buildings, including a jail, a post office, a blacksmith shop, a school, and a hotel. If you're up to it, you can even rent accommodations to make sure the town has at least one or two overnight residents; two cabins are available for rent during the winter.
Sleigh Rides

This juried arts and crafts show features some of the Northwest's best artists
and craftspeople. Peruse displays of jewelry, photography, sculpture, weaving,
wooden toys, handmade furniture, stained glass, glass beads, and pottery. Need
some homemade jams or jelly? How about some dressing? Home tailored clothing.
Beeswax candles are an excellent choice for a gift. Come listen to the harp
music and enjoy all the entertainers. You can do all your Christmas shopping
for the whole family in one location!
